Dr Ian Yiannakis
Meet the Dentist
Dr Ian Yiannakis has been caring for the Midland community for more than two decades — and he still loves what he does.
After graduating from the University of Western Australia in 1993, Ian began his career delivering dental care to remote communities in the northern Goldfields and with the Royal Flying Doctor Service. In 1995, he moved into private practice, and since 2000, he’s proudly served as the principal dentist at Helena Street Dental.
Over the years, Ian has built strong, lasting relationships with families across Midland and beyond. His passion lies in helping people feel confident about their oral health — whether that means solving a problem, maintaining a healthy smile, or simply being someone patients can trust.
Outside of the clinic, Ian enjoys beach fishing, sport, travel, and classic 80s music. He’s also deeply involved in the local community, supporting various children’s charities and taking an active role in junior AFL and cricket clubs. For six years, he was a proud member of the Rotary Club of Midland — including a year as president.
Ian brings warmth, experience, and a true sense of community to every appointment.
