Popcorn Kernels
One of the biggest culprits is the humble popcorn kernel.
The thin husk surrounding the kernel has a habit of wedging itself tightly beneath the gumline, where it can be surprisingly difficult to remove.
Many people assume it will work its way out naturally, but sometimes it remains trapped for days, leading to sore, swollen or bleeding gums.

Fruit Seeds
